Jessica, Janet and myself went to APOT to get another 100k of green coffee. One the way home we stopped by Flori's house and were impressed by the work Flori's daughter is doing on soil building. She was making compost tea and using goat manure to make fertilizer for her "huertas" or raised planting beds.
We also talked about honey bees and saw Flori's coffee/bannana fields. The grand finally was disovering her 70 year old cacao trees. They were covered with flowers and should produce some amount of cacao for chocolate. Can't wait to taste the first test batch.
